Privacy

Updated 22 August 2026

This page covers the Lore app and this website.

What Lore stores

Lore keeps your settings and progress on your device. There are no accounts and nothing to sign in to.

Purchases

Lore Pro is a one-time purchase handled by the store you bought it from: Google Play on Android, the App Store on iPhone. We never see your payment details. Google's handling is covered by Google's privacy policy, and Apple's by Apple's privacy policy. The app keeps an on-device record that Pro is unlocked.

Casting

If you cast, Lore sends the question board to your Chromecast or Google TV over your own network, and your TV loads the display page from this site. Casting uses Google's Cast framework and is covered by Google's privacy policy. Each time the display page is loaded we count it: the time and whether it was a TV or a browser, and nothing else. No IP address and no identifier are kept.

This website

No cookies, no accounts and nothing to sign up for. We keep no request log for these pages and do not count page views. The one exception is the TV display page, described under Casting above.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles requests on our behalf; Cloudflare's privacy policy describes how it handles data as our provider. Some pages link out to other services such as Google Play, which are covered by their own privacy policies, not this one.

Children

Lore is a general-audience app.
