These terms govern your use of the Lore app. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.

The app

Lore is a trivia game, provided as-is for your personal enjoyment. We do our best to keep every answer accurate, but trivia is trivia: if you spot a mistake, tell us and we'll fix it in an update. Answers are for entertainment, and aren't offered as authoritative reference.

Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app, or scrape, extract or redistribute its question bank, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

Purchases

Lore Pro is an optional one-time purchase made through the store you installed the app from: Google Play or the App Store, priced in your local currency. It unlocks the remaining Medium shelves, the Hard and Expert shelves in every category, the Grand Round, and all future questions and categories. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel. The purchase is processed by that store under its own terms and is restored on any device signed into the same store account, with Play's normal restore mechanism for a Google account and Restore Purchases for an Apple Account. Refunds follow that store's policy: Google Play's refund policy or Apple's.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it stable and pleasant to use, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zone7 Studios Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Where our liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the app or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Nothing here affects any consumer rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
